1. Our standard refund rule

A2Z Institution offers a refund of the amount actually paid for a course when BOTH of these conditions are met:

The refund request is made within 7 calendar days of successful purchase. The learner has watched no more than 10% of the purchased course's video content when the request is made.

Exactly 10% watched remains eligible. More than 10% watched is not eligible under this standard policy, even if the request is made within 7 days.

A request made after the 7-day deadline is not eligible under this standard policy, even if the course has not been started.

These conditions apply to regular-price and discounted course purchases. The exceptions for billing errors and legally required remedies are explained below.

2. How the 7-day period is calculated

The period is 7 calendar days, including weekends and public holidays, measured as 168 hours from the successful purchase timestamp. It does not begin when you first log in or watch a lesson. We use Indian Standard Time (IST) when communicating the deadline.

For example, a purchase completed at 2:00 PM IST on 19 September 2026 has a standard refund-request deadline of 2:00 PM IST on 26 September 2026. A request received at the deadline remains within the period; a later request does not.

Your first identifiable refund request made through the contact routes below preserves the request date. Our response time or a reasonable request for follow-up information does not move your original request outside the refund window.

3. How the 10% viewing limit is calculated

The percentage is based on the duration of distinct purchased-course video content watched, divided by the total duration of the purchased course's included videos, multiplied by 100. We use the course video content included at the time of purchase as the basis, so later additions or removals do not change your original threshold.

Rewatching the same section does not count that section twice. Unwatched portions that are skipped and free previews viewed before purchase do not count as watched purchased content. Notes and test attempts are not treated as video viewing for this calculation.

We assess viewing recorded up to the time your first refund request is received. We use the underlying viewing records rather than a rounded display percentage. If you believe the record is inaccurate, tell us so that we can review it with any information you provide. Missing or unreliable records will not automatically be treated as proof that you exceeded the limit.

After requesting a refund, stop using the course while the request is reviewed. Access to that course may be temporarily paused to prevent further use. If the request is declined or withdrawn, access will be restored subject to the original access terms and any separately justified restriction.

4. How to request a refund

Email support@a2zinstitution.com with the subject "Refund Request", preferably from your registered email address, and include the course name in your message. You can also contact +91-9363515254 to notify us of the request and obtain help. If you cannot email before the deadline, notify us by phone within the period and provide written confirmation as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide your name, registered email address, course name, purchase date and order or payment reference. A reason for the request is welcome but is not required to satisfy the two eligibility conditions. We may request reasonable proof of purchase if the transaction cannot otherwise be identified.

Keep a copy of your request or call details. Do not send passwords, one-time passwords, UPI PINs or complete card details. Redact unrelated information from any payment screenshot.

5. Review, amount and payment method

We will check the purchase and viewing records and explain our decision. A refusal will include the reason, and you may request a review if relevant information is wrong or missing.

For an eligible course refund, we return the amount actually paid for that course, including the applicable tax collected on it. A discount or coupon is not refundable as cash. We do not deduct an undisclosed processing or cancellation charge.

We aim to verify an eligible request and initiate the refund within 7 business days after receiving the information reasonably needed to verify it. This processing target is separate from the 7-calendar-day period for making your request. Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in Tamil Nadu. Any shorter legally required refund period takes priority.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method wherever possible. If that is not possible, we will agree a secure alternative with the verified purchaser. The time for the credit to appear depends on the bank or payment provider; we will provide the available refund reference and status information.

6. Access after refund

Once a refund is approved, access to the refunded course and its associated paid materials will end. A refund for one course does not cancel other separately purchased courses. You must not continue using or distributing copies of refunded course materials except where the law permits.

7. Duplicate payments, failed access and mandatory remedies

A confirmed duplicate charge is refundable independently of the normal viewing limit. If a payment fails but an amount is debited, contact us with the payment reference so we can help investigate or arrange the appropriate reversal with the payment provider.

If payment succeeds but access is not delivered, or if the service is defective, deficient or materially different from what was described, contact us. We will investigate and provide the remedy required by applicable law. A support offer does not, by itself, remove a valid refund right.

The 7-day and 10% limits govern our standard cancellation policy. They do not override mandatory rights or refunds required by applicable consumer law, a competent authority or another applicable legal requirement.

8. Refunds for multiple courses

For separately purchased courses, eligibility is assessed for each course and only the amount paid for the eligible course is refunded. Any bundle-specific allocation or refund treatment must be clearly disclosed before purchase; an undisclosed bundle rule will not be used to reduce this policy's protection.

9. Questions, complaints and policy changes

Contact us if an approved refund has not arrived, and include the order and refund reference. For an unresolved complaint, ask for escalation to the Grievance Officer identified in our Terms and Conditions. We will acknowledge consumer complaints within 48 hours and address them within one month, or sooner where required by law.

Future policy changes will apply prospectively and will not reduce the refund terms promised when an existing purchase was made.
